1. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to marry to use Rasik Bandhan. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is true.

Rasik Bandhan ("Rasik Bandhan", "we", "us", "our", "the App", or "the Service") is an Android matrimony (marriage-matchmaking) platform built for adults of the Hindu and Gaudiya Vaishnava devotional community who are sincerely seeking marriage. By downloading, accessing, registering for, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms are an electronic record and an electronic agreement under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and do not require any physical or digital signature.

By creating an account you represent and warrant that:

• You are 18 years of age or older. The App is strictly for adults; no person under the age of 18 is permitted to register or use the Service under any circumstances.
• You are legally competent to enter into a binding contract and are not barred from receiving the Service under the laws of India or any other applicable law.
• You are using the Service in good faith, in your own genuine search for marriage, and not on behalf of any other person without authority.
• You are not impersonating any person and the identity and information you provide are your own and accurate.

The Service is intended for use within India and is governed by Indian law. We reserve the right to verify eligibility at any time and to refuse, suspend, or terminate access where eligibility cannot be confirmed or where these Terms are breached.

2. Acceptable use

Rasik Bandhan is for adults sincerely seeking marriage within the devotional community. You agree not to harass, deceive, impersonate, or misuse the platform, and not to share unlawful, harmful, or sexual content. Treat every member with respect.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Child Safety Standards, and the values of a devotional matrimony community. When you use the App you must not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, or share any information or engage in any conduct that:

• Harasses, bullies, threatens, abuses, stalks, defames, or intimidates any other member, or otherwise causes another person distress or harm.
• Is deceptive or fraudulent, including providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information about your identity, age, marital status, photographs, or intentions, or using the Service for any purpose other than a sincere search for marriage.
• Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with any person, community, guru-parampara, or organisation.
• Is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, paedophilic, or invasive of another's privacy, or that solicits sexual contact, money, or commercial favours.
• Involves or relates to a minor in any way, including any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a child. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance on child sexual abuse material (CSAM), consistent with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and applicable law. • Is unlawful, harmful, hateful, racially or ethnically objectionable, encourages money laundering or gambling, or is otherwise inconsistent with or contrary to the laws of India.
• Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right, or violates any law for the time being in force.
• Contains software viruses or any code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer resource, or that attempts to gain unauthorised access to the App, other accounts, or our systems.
• Spams, advertises, solicits, or promotes any product, service, or third-party platform, or harvests or collects information about other members.
• Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence, or insults any other nation.

The categories of restricted content above reflect the due-diligence obligations applicable to intermediaries under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. You are solely responsible for your conduct and for all content you submit, and you agree not to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the safety, security, or moderation features of the Service. Any contact or relationship you pursue with another member is entered into at your own discretion and risk; please use good judgement and follow the safety guidance we provide.

3. Account & safety

You are responsible for your account and for the accuracy of your profile. We verify profiles and may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms or compromise the safety of others.

Your account responsibilities

You sign in to Rasik Bandhan using your phone number with a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your device and your access to it, and for all activity that takes place under your account. You agree to keep your profile information current, complete, and accurate, and to promptly update it if anything changes. Profiles that contain false, misleading, incomplete, or impersonated information may be edited, hidden, suspended, or removed. You must not create more than one account, create an account on behalf of someone else without authority, or transfer or share your account with any other person.

Profile accuracy and information you provide

Information you choose to share — such as your name; age or date of birth; gender; location or city; height; marital status; education; profession; languages; family details; and the devotional details you choose to share (such as your Sampradaya, guru-parampara, and diksha or initiation status) — must be truthful and represent you. Profile photographs must genuinely depict you and must comply with the acceptable-use rules above. How we handle this information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Safety, verification, and content moderation

To help keep the community safe, your profiles, photographs, and content may be reviewed using a combination of automated systems (including third-party AI moderation service providers) and human review to detect prohibited, unsafe, or unlawful content. To protect members, profiles are visible only to other verified members within the App, and your photographs stay blurred and your contact details stay protected until there is mutual interest between you and another member.

We provide reporting and blocking tools within the App so you can flag profiles, messages, or content that concern you, and we encourage you to use them. We act on reports as part of our duty of care and our obligations as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Suspension and removal rights

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where appropriate, to:

• Remove, hide, blur, restrict, or refuse to display any content or profile that we believe breaches these Terms, is unlawful, or is unsafe.
• Limit, suspend, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service.
• Decline to verify, or revoke verification of, any profile.
• Cooperate with and disclose information to law-enforcement authorities and government agencies where required by law or to investigate suspected unlawful activity or breaches of these Terms.

We will make reasonable efforts to act fairly and proportionately, but the safety of the community is our priority.

Your content and licence to display it

You retain ownership of the content you submit, including your profile information and photographs ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have all necessary rights to share it and that it does not infringe the rights of any other person. By submitting User Content, you grant Rasik Bandhan a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to blur photographs or generate previews), and display that User Content within the App for the limited purpose of operating, providing, securing, and improving the Service — for instance, to show your profile to other verified members. This licence exists only to run the Service and ends when your User Content is removed or your account is deleted, except for content we are required by law to retain or that remains in routine backups pending deletion on a rolling schedule. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account in the App, or by emailing rasikbandhan@gmail.com, as described in our Delete Your Account page.

4. Subscriptions & payments

Rasik Bandhan is free to start. Optional premium plans may be offered and are billed securely through Google Play. Pricing and features are described at the point of purchase. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Optional premium plans are sold and billed solely through Google Play Billing. When you purchase a premium plan, your payment is processed by Google under Google Play's terms and payment methods. The App does not collect, process, or store your card or bank details. The plan you select, its price (inclusive of applicable taxes where shown), its duration, and the features it unlocks are displayed to you at the point of purchase before you confirm.

Our premium plans are prepaid plans for fixed terms; they are not auto-renewing subscriptions and do not automatically charge you again at the end of a term. Access to premium features applies for the duration of the plan you purchased and may stop when the plan period ends unless you choose to purchase again. Premium access does not guarantee any particular result, including any match, response, or marriage.

Refunds, where applicable, are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policies, since Google Play is the seller of record for these purchases. For full details of how cancellations and refunds work, please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Disclaimers, intermediary status & limitation of liability

We provide the platform with care but cannot guarantee outcomes such as matches or marriage. The service is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law.

Intermediary status

Rasik Bandhan operates as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We provide a platform that enables members to create profiles, discover one another, and connect for the purpose of marriage. User Content and information made available through the App is created by members, not by us. We do not author, endorse, or verify the truth of statements made by members beyond the verification and moderation measures we describe, and we are not a party to any communication, relationship, engagement, or marriage that results from use of the Service. While we take reasonable steps to moderate content and keep the community safe, you remain responsible for exercising your own judgement in your interactions with other members.

"As is" basis and no warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• You will find a match, receive a response, or marry through the Service.
• Any member's profile, photographs, or statements are accurate, complete, or genuine.
• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rasik Bandhan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, opportunity, or expected outcome, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or your interactions or dealings with any other member. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rasik Bandhan and its operators from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law; or (d) your violation of the rights of any other member or third party.

6. Termination, changes & governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account via Settings → Delete account in the App, or by emailing rasikbandhan@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your conduct compromises the safety of others or the integrity of the Service, or as required by law. On termination, the licence you grant for your User Content ends and we will remove your profile data, retaining only what the law requires, for only as long as required; residual data in backups is purged on a rolling schedule, as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including those on acceptable use, User Content licences already exercised, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, our practices, or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you within the App. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service and may delete your account.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Service, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Subject to applicable law, the courts of competent jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim.
